Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s youngest son Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt is growing up fast!
The 16-year-old made his first red carpet appearance in three years as he joined his famous mum at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, per E! News.
Fans couldn’t help but compare the teen to his Hollywood dad, Brad Pitt, in his younger years.
Here’s what we know about the former couple’s low-key son.
Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt was born in France
Knox and his twin sister Vivienne were born in the seaside city of Nice on the French Riviera on July 12, 2008. Knox was born first, about a minute before his sibling.
His name holds a special meaning

Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt’s name was inspired by his family members. He is named after his paternal great grandfather, Hal Knox Hillhouse – and the name Léon honours his mum’s great grandfather.
When it comes to high-profile baby intros, nothing quite compares to Knox and his sister’s first magazine cover.

Jointly published the month after their birth by People and Hello! magazines, the twins’ first photos were sold for a reported US$15 million. The proceeds from the highly publicised shoot went to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
Knox has already dabbled in acting

Knox seems to be following in his Hollywood parents’ footsteps with both charitable endeavours and minor acting roles. According to IMDb, he lent his voice to the character Ku Ku in Kung Fu Panda, which his mum also appears in.
